Rules
The short version. The rules page in the repository is the one that binds.
Entry
- Anyone, any testnet wallet, any time until maturity. Fund from friendbot, claim 1,000 cUSDC, trade through the YBC app.
- Each wallet is scored over its own window, from the ledger it claimed in. Joining late is neither an advantage nor a penalty.
- The organiser, and anyone who has seen a round's seed before the reveal, may not enter that round.
Scoring
value = cUSDC
+ PT × face
+ YT claimable yield
+ shares × final rate
+ LP share × (pool PT × face + pool shares × final rate)
return = value / 1000 − 1
passive = final rate / rate at the wallet's claim − 1
score = return − passive (percentage points)Settlement uses maturity entitlements: PT at face, shares at the final rate, never the last AMM trade. Interim rankings are estimates. Score is a percentage of a fixed budget, so holding more cUSDC never improves it.
Disqualification
A wallet that receives cUSDC, vault shares, PT, YT or LP tokens from any address other than a campaign contract is disqualified. An honest entrant only ever receives from those contracts. Each disqualification is published with the transaction behind it. No wallet may hold more than 20% of the pool's LP.
Prizes
- Most of the pool goes to the top five scores. Prizes go to people, not wallets, and are claimed, not pushed.
- A separately judged award for strategy write-ups, signed by the wallet and submitted before results are known.
- One prize per person. Nothing is paid for volume.
The vault
The campaign vault is the one contract in the competition that is not production code. Its yield is set by the organiser from a published, seeded, mean-reverting process, once an hour, non-decreasing, step-capped and rate-capped on chain. The seed is committed by hash before launch and revealed at settlement. If the feeder is down, missed hours are pushed in order when it returns, never skipped.
